STX OSV TO DEPLOY AVEVA HULL AND OUTFITTING

When it filed its prospectus back in November 2010, STX OSV Holdings Limited stated that it would target a portion of the S$131.6 million proceeds from its IPO towards investing in emerging markets. One of the first investments made by STX OSV with the proceeds from its IPO was to acquire 30% of the shares in STX OSV Singapore Pte. Ltd. from Amanda Shipyards Pte. Ltd. for about S$6.6 million, giving it full control of the subsidiary and enabling the company to further develop the entities in Singapore and Vietnam.
