Staff and owners of Lammes Candies Since 1885 were hosts to the recent Retail Confectioners International (RCI) spring regional institute in Austin, Texas, USA. In addition to a tour of Lammes and sites throughout Austin, the meeting featured discussions on managing multiple locations, lease negotiation, production tips, valuating a business, marketing ideas, networking and customer service. The customer is most important in any retail establishment, and that theme underscored the tours, the general sessions and the Candy Clinic. What is best for the customer will result in better business.
