PISA: Equally prepared for life? How 15-year-old boys and girls perform in school

摘要

This report explores gender differences in terms of educational performance and attitudes from early childhood through adolescence to eventual labor market participation, using the OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) survey data. It includes findings from earlier PISA studies that assessed gender-related distinctions in terms of reading, mathematics, and science. The findings reported here can inform policy concerning educational goals, quality, and approach in terms of achieveing gender equity.
