Michael Johnston was this year's recipient of the Frank Johnston Award which is awarded annually by the International Council of Hides Skins & Leather Traders Associations. This was very apt since the award, which is to recognise someone who has given outstanding services to the leather industry, was set up in 1990 in honour of Michael's father, Frank.
