Theo Wright: When Waves Collide

The exhibition was made up of twelve pieces of work by the Coventry-based textile artist and weaver Theo Wright, who is keen to create designs that appeal to men. Theo graduated in 2011 from University College Falmouth having decided in 1997, while he travelled in the Middle East, that he had to acknowledge his interest in textiles. He had previously worked in computer science. Theo enjoys the rhythm of handweaving and the attention to detail the process affords; before starting to weave he uses a spreadsheet-like electronic graph to develop an idea.
