A loudspeaker is mounted in a cylindrical housing (2). The sound waves are split up by a bridge on an opening (3) in the housing (2) or by a projection on the inner wall of the housing (2) and turned around in opposite directions. - Due to the housing being round, the waves travelling in different directions collide and their energy is coverted into heat.
