摘要

A simple review of recent progress in the evaluation of buckling loads of steel single layer reticulated domes is presented. The emphasis is put on the approximate evaluation based on effective rigiditis and discrete beam-column elements with a direction to present approximate evaluation methods for linear, elastic-nonlinear and elastic-plastic buckling loads under vertical loads like self-weight. Some parts follow the IASS Recommendations in 1979 and related papers for shells, since buckling of continuum shells are related keenly with the present steel reticulated domes.
