摘要

Abstract Electric vehicles have gained massive traction and other commercial purpose over the last few years in West Bengal due to their low cost of fuel, maintenance, sustainability and manageable mechanics. Electric vehicles have brought about a revolution in the industrial, transportation and commercial purpose due to low transportation costs around the globe. They use a battery which is charged from the electric grid as well as from solar power. This method of charging is far more efficient than the conventional methods which employs iron core transformer. These chargers tend to consume excessive amount of power from the grid. A partially charged solar vehicle is the best fit for these kinds of situations; they can ease out the burden on the grid, while maintaining the zero emission levels. Many private and government organizations have pledged to establish charging stations for the sustainability of the electric vehicles. However due to economical constraints, and inefficient storage problems, partially charged solar vehicle appears to be the most suitable option. This paper presents the analysis of the solar and induction cooking-based vehicles overall performance in different conditions.
