摘要

Fiber-optic communication has become such a fast-growing area, in which new technologies are continuously surging and updating. New technologies have made the fiber-optic communication a better media for wide-range transmission of information. This paper presents a digital optical terminal for optical transmission based on the CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device). The device achieves multi-channel and real-time transmission of 8-channel video signals in one optical fiber. The experiments show that this Multi-channel DVOT (Digital Video Optical Terminal) can well implement long-range, real-time monitoring tasks by providing high-fidelity images and accurate data.
