摘要

Energy Saving is an important issue in wireless mobile computing. Mobile units can save energy by selectively tuning to the channel using indexed data to broadcast over wireless channels. In this paper, we proposed a method to build index trees based on access frequency. The approach not only decreases the data item access collision and the jump between the channels, but also decreases the average tuning time of the data broadcasting. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm reduces the average access time and improves the data broadcast capability efficiently, especially has better properties when the access data increasing.
