摘要

In this paper, we study the energy dissipation of mixed traffic flow composed of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) vehicles and manual-driving vehicles. We first proposed the motion model of mixed traffic flow and then introduced the energy dissipation formula based on the motion model. The motion of manual-driving vehicles is described by full velocity difference model, and that of the ACC vehicles are described by multiple headway and velocity difference model. On this basis, the influence that the ratio of ACC vehicles has on energy dissipation is investigated by numerical simulation under stable and unstable condition respectively. The numerical simulation show that energy dissipation decreases with the increase of ACC vehicles regardless the traffic flow is stable or unstable.
