摘要

In this paper, a new wavelet called Pulse wavelet is proposed and its characteristics are discussed. Its applications are given in rolling element bearing fault diagnosis. In addition, the diagnostic information obtained by Pulse wavelet energy spectrum analysis is compared with that obtained by Daubechies wavelet energy spectrum analysis, which is popular in machine fault diagnosis, in order to test and verify the effect of Pulse wavelet energy spectrum analysis. The experimental results demonstrate that Pulse wavelet has an excellent performance in rolling element bearing fault diagnosis.
