摘要

To resolve the problems of large amount of video data and gradual transition detection, it proposes an originally progressive bisection strategy to control the system process. To address the problem of inaccurate detection threshold, it develops the adaptive threshold scheme based on inter-frame difference histogram. For the problem of using multiple features to detect shot boundaries, it put forwards a new Boolean weighting algorithm to effectively determine the final results. It performs extensive experiments on TRECVID video set, compares the results with other algorithms and the proposed algorithm is superior both in detection quality and time complexity.
