Structural Analysis and Optimization of Damping Hole on PCB NC Drilling Machine's Linear Drive Worktable

The new train of thought of the porous structure of worktable is putting forward based on the drive linear motor worktable with the enhancing accuracy demand of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) drilling. This paper compares and analyses the four hole structures about original structure (square hole), regular triangle hole, circle hole and regular hexagon hole, which reveals that in terms of statics analysis and modal analysis the regular hexagon structure is superior to the other three structures. Taking into consideration these results, the optimization of the parameters of the regular hexagon structure is performed. The worktable becomes more lightweight and high specific stiffness after parameter optimization. It is important engineering significance to apply regular hexagon structure for worktable of PCB machine NC tool which is beneficial to improve the machining precision and efficiency.
