摘要

Sound source localization based on the Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) consists of two parts - time delay estimation and location estimation. The cumulative errors and the final accuracy of localization will be affected by these two parts. In order to overcome these drawbacks, an improved sound source localization algorithm was proposed in this paper. The time delay estimation algorithm of accumulated multi-frame cross power spectrum phase (CSP) was used in the algorithm. The source location was derived by an improved Spherical Interpolation (SI) algorithm. In order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm, a three-dimensional sound source localization system is established under the practical conditions. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the errors and improve the positioning accuracy.
