Semidefinite Programming (SDP) does not require the initial solution and avoids the local minima, so it-is widely applied in the sensor localization. By using the acoustic energy measurements the Weighting Least Square-based SDP (WLS-SDP) algorithm is proposed in this paper. To reduce the computational complexity, the Simplified Weighting Least Square-based SDP (SWLS-SDP) algorithm is further designed by reducing the number of variables. The simulations show that the proposed SWLS-SDP obtains the almost same estimation accuracy with the proposed WLS-SDP. However the SWLS-SDP runs faster than WLS-SDP for less variables.
