Dynamic Responses Analysis of Transmission Tower under the Effect of Ruptured Wire Loads

摘要

Many researches on dynamic responses of transmission tower under the effect of ruptured wire loads were assumed that wires broke at the same time. Nevertheless, the more actual condition is that wires broke not at the same time but with time interval. According to this problem, a numerical model of transmission tower-line system was established by ANSYS program. And it was mainly analyzed the dynamic responses to transmission tower under the effect of ruptured wire loads. Analysis results indicate that dynamic responses, caused by the wires breaking with time interval, are much larger than the ones caused by wires ruptured at the same time. In addition, the current Tower Design Code in some countries regards ruptured wire loads as static ones without considering the dynamic effects caused by ruptured wire loads. So these dynamic effects, caused by ruptured wire loads, should be taken into account for the Tower Design Code.
