摘要

Received Signal Strength (RSS) measurement is widely applied in the field of wireless localization due to the advantages of low costs and no extra hardware. Cramer-Rao Low Bound (CRLB) of target location is derived for the localization model of RSS logarithmic decay. When anchor nodes are set at the special locations, the CRLB of target node location is least. The simulations demonstrate the anchor location condition to achieve the least CRLB and analyze the impacts of anchor locations on CRLB. The location optimization approach provides reliable theory basis for the selecting of anchor nodes.
