摘要

The writers thank the discussers for their interest in the paper and for their contribution to the examination of the plastic deformation of gravelly soils. The discussion provides the opportunity to explore the details of the plastic deformation of gravelly soils. Regarding the points they raised, more information about the plastic deformation in our study follows. The second conclusion in the article, "during the CTC tests, plastic deformation occurs before the failure state, and the influence of confining pressure on the plastic strain is insignificant," has to be modified adequately. In addition, the difference between the deformation of gravelly soils and that of rockfill materials is also clarified.
