I am pleased to welcome two associate editors to the Editorial Board of the Journal. Shane Brown is an associate professor in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Oregon State University. His research interests are in situated cognition, conceptual change, and social capital. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Oregon State University and the M.S. degree from University of California at Davis, all in civil engineering. He has received several research and teaching awards, including the NSF CAREER award, best paper awards from the ASEE Pacific Northwest Section and from ASEE Zone IV, and the ASCE ExCEEd National New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award. He is a former director of ASEE ERM and will be the ERM Program Chair for the 2015 ASEE National Meeting.
