Southwestern College learns how to set up for Comic-Con

On July 2 Daniel Gomez gave a tour at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Daniel showed us how he set up the stage that he managed, including the technology he got to work with. We were fortunate to be there during a performance, thus we got to see how he mixed wireless with an iPad. Daniel was kind enough to show us the other performing stages during his break. Tuesday July 6, the day before Comic-Con starts, crowds of people had already flooded the streets around the Convention Center. We met up with Ken Freeman, who showed us many of the tools and equipment he and his team use in order to have a successful event. Our members were in awe of how much preparation went into making Hall H successful. Ken Freeman later introduced us to his team. Every member of that team had something insightful to teach us, including many DOs and DON'Ts that we have heard from Ken Freeman and Professor Henry. Our favorite part of this experience was seeing the devotion Ken Freeman and his team had to make this event a perfect experience.
