Introduction of Train Condition Monitoring Device

Rolling stock maintenance utilizing data has been widely available recently because rolling stock devices have been innovated for such maintenance which have introduced sensing technologies developing significantly in recent years and core technologies in the fourth industrial revolution symbolized by big data, IoT, AI, etc. West Japan Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as "JR West") has been also making much effort to innovate its maintenance and now introduced the "Train condition monitoring device" which utilizes widely not only the latest technologies in the railway industry but also those for general purposes.
