Budget request includes large increase for USN

The fiscal year 2020 (FY 2020) budget request for the US Navy (USN) is about USD205.6 billion, or about 4.6% more than the enacted FY 2019 budget. This is slightly more than the 3.8% average budget growth the USN has seen since FY 2018, according to USN budget documents released on 12 March.
