Air cushion vehicle manufacturer Griffon Hoverwork is expecting to receive orders for four or five 2400TD hovercraft from two military customers in Asia and the Middle East, a senior executive told Jane's on 13 September.rnWhile neither customer was named, the Pakistan Navy is understood to be keen to purchase four 2000TD hovercraft that were recently declared surplus to requirement by the UK Royal Marines (RM) after several years of service.rnThe anticipated deals follow thernannouncement by UK-based Griffon in July of a GBP34 million (USD52.5 million) contract for 12 twin-engined 8000TD hovercraft to the Indian Coast Guard.
