USAF seeks SA-6 and SA-19 replicas

Information from Jane's will be used in a US Air Force ( USAF) project to create replicas of former Soviet Union mobile air defence systems, writes Doug Richardson.rnIn a 9 April combined synopsis/solicitation, the service announced plans to procure a replica of the Kub (SA-6 'Gainful') and Tunguska (SA-19 'Grison') self-propelled missile launchers and the Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. The chosen contractor is to build both dummy vehicles using dimensions from unclassified sources, and Jane's was cited as a potential source of data.
