ATK has been awarded a USD54.4 million contract by the US Navy for a third lot of low-rate initial production (LRIP) AGM-88E Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missiles (AARGMs). The contract authorises production of AARGM missiles and support equipment for the navy and for the Italian Air Force. AARGM is in the initial operational test and evaluation (IOT&E) phase and has undergone more than 300 hours of missile flight-testing with the navy in the last 12 months, according to ATK. The testing has included multiple live fires.
