ATK wins third LRIP contract for AARGM

Atk has been awarded a USD54.4 million contract by the US Navy (USN) for a third set of low-rate initial production (LRIP) AGM-88E Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missiles (AARGM). LRIP began in 2008 and the company was awarded a second contract in 2010. This latest contract covers production of missiles and associated support equipment for the USN and the Italian Air Force. It will bring the total number of production missiles ordered to 115.
