Poland to spend USD40 billion by 2022 on modernisation

Poland's minister of defence said that his country will spend USD40 billion on moderation by 2022, with the company pushing its defence budget above the NATO suggested 2% of gross domestic product (GDP), during a speech at a Washington think tank on 19 May. Tomasz Siemoniak, who also serves as Poland's deputy prime minister, described the spending plans during a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
