Lotte Chemical spending $3 billion through 2022

Lotte Chemical (Seoul, South Korea) says it will spend 3.7 trillion won ($3 billion) through 2022 to expand production capacity and support chemical-related start-up businesses in South Korea. In a statement issued on 28 May, the company says its longer- term objective is to achieve sales of W50 trillion ($42 billion) by 2030, up from W16.5 trillion in 2018.
