Applause for emissions limits

The final target is now clear. The United Nations agreed on globally-defined regulations for climate protection for the shipping industry on 13 April this year, after difficult negotiations in the International Maritime Organization (IMO). By the end of the 21st century, all ships should be climate neutral and no longer emit carbon dioxide.
