An increasing number of companies are joining forces in the transport and logistics sector to organise their Services more efficiently. The latest example in the inland shipping sector is the Company RheinCargo, which will commence operating as a Joint venture of the Germany inland port enterprises Haefen und Gueterverkehr Koeln (HGK) and Neuss-Duesseldorfer Haefen (NDH).
