The Europa Worldwide Group, an independent British logistics firm, has got big plans - it wants to become the market leader in the European road freight market by 2018, with Germany playing a central role. Ever since Europa was bought by Andrew Baxter four years ago - he then became its new managing director - the company has invested heavily in its German activities. In 2016 Europa's road haulage division strengthened its connections to Germany by launching a daily service to and from Hamburg, thus reducing distribution costs.
