A Personal Introduction to Theoretical Dictionary Learning

When I was asked to write an introduction to my research area dictionary learning I was excited and said yes. Then I remembered that there is already a very readable review paper doing exactly that, namely literature reference. Since I could not do it better I decided to do it differently.
