摘要

Using multiple constituencies approach, variances in competencies in human resource leadership have been studied as this is becoming highly significant in India's globalisation efforts. Previous research in leadership orientation focused on localisation of human resource competencies rather than its globalisation. For this, human resource professionals are expected to acquire high level of competencies and leadership orientation. Statistical analyses of multiple constituencies were carried out for three case studies of multinational companies. The results show that strategic, professional, administrative and interpersonal competencies have significant influence towards leadership orientation. Among these, one of the most critical factors that influence leadership orientation is found to be strategic competencies.
