E-government is a new and emerging area of interest in the field of e-businesses which employs ICTs to enhance the access to and delivery of government information and services to citizens, businesses, government employees, and other agencies. In this work a survey of the readiness of public servants on the adoption of e-government is carried out. This study identifies the determinants of civil servant users' adoption of e-government services in four different ministries in Ondo State Nigeria using an amended version of the UTAUT model with seven constructs. The findings revealed that performance expectancy and self efficacy are significantly associated with age, while social influence, attitude behaviour and self efficacy are strongly associated with gender. The research also provides useful insights into the motivations underlying the intentions to use e-government services in developing countries.
