摘要

Despite a rapidly changing media environment, many of the basic questions of media and communication studies continuously persist in their relevance. One of these questions is the relation of media and social factors, which is the central theme of The Social Use of Media: Cultural and Social Scientific Perspectives on Audience Research. This book, published in the ECREA series, edited by Bilandzic, Patriarche and Traudt, unites thirteen contributions on this focal topic, further dividing in three topical parts.
