The banking community donated £1.16m to Save the Children at the IFR Awards dinner on January 21, in large part thanks to the generosity of Bank of the Year Morgan Stanley. The bank's £630,000 contribution to the charity tombstone is a record and helped total proceeds across 20 years of the gala dinner reach £23.345m. Colm Kelleher, president of institutional securities, accepted the Bank of the Year Award from HRH The Princess Royal, president of Save the Children. Jonny Gould returned to host the tombstone alongside Myleene Klass, while banker's son Marcus Brigstocke provided the entertainment.
