A points management server 10 is an awards management device connected so as to be able to communicate, via a communications network, with a terminal for a user of an information provision site and a terminal for an administrator of the information provision site. The points management server 10 has: an evaluation value recording unit 136 that calculates an evaluation value for acts of users using the information provision site; an awards application unit 138 that applies awards to users on the basis of the evaluation values corresponding to users during a prescribed time period; a storage unit 140 that stores settings information that includes first settings information and second settings information, said first settings information being used as a reference when the evaluation value recording unit 136 calculates evaluation values and said second settings information being used as a reference when the awards application unit 138 determines the size of awards; and a settings information updating unit 131 that updates the settings information on the basis of instructions from the administrator terminal.
