ECB set to revive Asian G3

Asian issuers are poised to return to the G3 bond markets after the European Central Bank delivered a quantitative easing package last week that boosted secondary credit prices. Issuers in Asia, excluding Australia and Japan, had printed a less than expected US$17bn of G3 bonds as of January 21, down from U5$20.7bn in the same period last year, according to Thomson Reuters data. Macroeconomic uncertainties saw several issuers choosing to wait for a better window to sell their debts.
