Australian casino tycoon James Packer has parted ways with Lawrence Ho, son of Macau magnate Stanley Ho, through an overnight block trade and an outright sale in Nasdaq-listed melco crown entertainment, accelerating his retreat from the crowded Asian market. Crown asia investments, a subsidiary of Packer's Crown Resorts, sold 40.9m Melco ADS to institutional investors on Thursday for US$16.35, at the low end of a US$16.30-$16.75 range.
