BERLIN HYP had no problem selling its second Green Pfandbrief, attracting €900m of demand for a €500m no-grow October 2023 trade, with the product proving immune to the troubles at Banco Popular. The German lender priced the deal with a 2bp concession at 14bp through mid-swaps, the tight end of less 12bp area guidance. "We conducted a deal-related roadshow last week and were very confident after the feedback we received to go to market," said Bodo Winkler, head of investor relations and credit treasury at Berlin Hyp. "We're a totally different story. This is super-secured and Green as well."
