Barclays, Bank of Nova Scotia and Stadshypotek were the latest banks to join the burgeoning market in sterling five-year floaters, though Lloyds bucked the trend by sticking to a three-year tenor. The bulk of UK sterling covered FRNs mature in 2019 and 2020, though a string of five-years from the likes of SpareBank 1 Boligkreditt, Santander UK and TSB Bank at the end of 2017 has ramped up the duration in this sector.
