Nomura falls to loss after tough Q3

Nomura suffered its first quarterly loss in two and a half years on a slide in wholesale profit and one-off charges, on top of a third consecutive quarterly loss for its international business. Japan's largest brokerage and investment bank made a net loss of ¥11.2bn (US$99m) for the July-September quarter, the second of its financial year, versus a net profit of ¥51.9bn a year earlier.
