Indigenous traditional knowledge permeates every aspect of the lives of its traditional owners. It is expressed in both tangible and intangible forms; it reflects the wisdom of their ancestors.rnIn general terms, Indigenous traditional knowledge is used to mean "traditional practices and culture and the knowledge of plants, animals and of their methods of propagation; it includes expressions of cultural values, beliefs, rituals and community laws; and it includes knowledge regarding land and ecosystem management.
