DSM showcases vegetarian DHA omega-3 for every stage of life

At the FiE in Paris, DSM Nutritional Products showcased algae-derived DHA omega-3 and emphasized the multiple health benefits of DHA. DHA is an essential fatty acid that supports brain, eye and heart health throughout life and can be used in a range of applications including supplements, baked goods, confectionery, dairy and drinks. DHA is a major structural fat in the brain and retina accounting for up to 97% of the omega-3 fats in the brain and up to 93% of the omega-3 fats in the retina. It is also a key component of the heart.
