Today, food and beverage manufacturers the world over are investing in new clean label solutions to keep their products firmly on trend with the rising demand from health-conscious consumers. Ice cream is no exception to this trend, but the technical needs from a product that is meant to be manufactured, stored and consumed frozen can make this problematic. Luckily, new developments in flavours, colours and formulations are being developed to allow ice cream brands to tap into the clean label trend without compromising on taste, quality and appearance.
