As tropical cities expand rapidly, more and more urban dwellers are subjected to the negative climaticrnconsequences of haphazardrnurbanization. This problem is beingrnsuper-imposed on the global warmingrntrend. While this is the bad news,rnthe good news is that possibilities tornmitigate urban warming can be foundrnwithin the urban form itself.
