Electromedical Equipment Committee Looks to Future

Frankfurt, Germany played host to a boisterous gathering this October—and it's probably not the one you're thinking of. From Oct. 10-14, a record number of electrical technology experts— including ones who specialize in healthcare—from more than 70 countries participated in the International Electrotechnical Commission's (IEC) 80th general meeting, which focused on connecting a vast community of committees and rethinking or "reinventing" standardization.
