MHD15 Electromedical Equipment

The fourth meeting of Electromedical Equipments Sectional Committee, MHD 15 was held on 20 February 2009 at BIS Headquarters, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Dr V.R.Singh, Scientist 'G' & Head, Instrumentation, Sensors and Biomedical, National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi. The meeting was attended by eminent members from various organizations working in the field of Electromedical Equipments. Chairman Dr V.R. Singh explained the different aspects of standardization work in the country. He also discussed the benefits of standardization to the stakeholders. The Committee stressed on the harmonization of Indian Standards with the International Standards (IEC/ISO) in order to promote trade.
