摘要

In broadband DS-CDMA uplink transmission with frequency-domain equalization (FDE) without cyclic prefix (CP) insertion, the transmission performance degrades due to inter block interference (IBI) and circular property loss. Therefore, imperfect circular property restoration was proposed to recover the circular property loss. In this paper, the impact of replica length reduction on the circular property restoration is evaluated. It is shown that a proper reduction of replica length can improve the bit error rate (BER) performance in a frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel, especially when multi-path exponential power profile is used, compared with uniform power profile case.
